A woman was cited after she "flipped off" two police officers in an unmarked vehicle who tried to warn her about texting and driving on July 22.

According to the Greenfield police log:

Two police officers in an unmarked vehicle observed a vehicle swerving while traveling southbound in the 4300 block of South 108th Street at about 12:45 p.m.

The officers pulled up next to the swerving car and noticed the female driver was texting.

When the officers rolled down their window and attempted to warn the woman about texting and driving, she responded by making an obscene hand gesture and kept on driving.

After she was pulled over, the woman told police she was just responding to a text from her daughter and had no idea who the men were or why they were yelling at her.

She was cited for texting while driving.
